These components make up the style and configuration of our patch which is referred to in the biker world as a three piece patch. Those who wear three piece patches do so as their testimony of commitment to their cause. Likewise, we Hellfighters wear our three piece patch as a visual sign of our commitment, not to the patch itself, but to the one and only Savior of the world, our Lord Jesus Christ whom we serve.
The Hellfighter patch is not just a pretty patch with various bright colors; on the contrary it is a meaningful patch with types and shadows of Jesus Christ in every stitch of color. Let me explain to you what we mean.
TOP ROCKER
The Top Rocker bearing the name Hellfighters represents the covering God has placed over each Hellfighter’s life to protect them from the evil one. He will shield you with His wings, He will shield you with His feathers, His faithful promises are your armor and protection (Psalm 91:4 NLT).
THE CREST OF PURPOSE
Our crest consists of six distinctive features:
The Lion is the represented figure of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah; our Savior, our Overcomer and Defender. Then one of the elders said to me, “Do Not Weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root David has triumphed”(Revelation. 5:5a, NIV).
The Cross which held Jesus while He suffered and died for your sins and mine is now being held by the Lion (Jesus) who is alive forevermore. And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after Me, cannot be My disciple (Luke 14:27). For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God[unto salvation] (1 Corinthians. 1:18).
The Three Banners atop the cross represent the Holy Trinity: the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Go ye therefore and teach all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, and the Son and the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world(Matthew 28:19, 20).
The Shield is a representation of Jesus Christ who is our Shield and Defender. The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped (Psalm 28:7a).
The words Bearing The Standard For Our Lord Jesus Christ allow those who see the wearer of this patch to know that Jesus is Who we serve. His cause is what we live for and His truths are what we share with everyone we meet. If any man serve Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall also My servant be; if any man serve Me, him will My Father honour(John 12:26).
The Wings represent our ability to rise above every obstacle Satan can hurl against us. But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).
BOTTOM ROCKER
The Bottom Rocker represents the foundational support that Jesus Christ gives to everyHellfighter who commits to stand upon His promises. ...upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18b). This rocker shall not be used to identify the city or locale of each chapter. Our vision is larger than that. Our vision is to reach the world. Bottom Rocker reads "Christian Ministries."
